if we used all our passions
to develop a better way
as the old southern church shouters would say.
make gray days
into rainbows.
for humans who are depressed
we'll remove their blindfolds
hold a young girls hand
Show the sad boy how to dance
hug the hopeless teen
that stares at the black nights
when she feels she has
no chance.
hope is pollen to the needy and the wealthy acts greedy
while eating too much watching 1000 yard TVs.
see these hands weren't made for slaughter

to give someone a picture or poem
for their sorrow
tomorrow is always a burden
simply because your not aware to what will
turn thick into thin
with all the time that's wasted
sitting and wishing
activity could be used
to bring some happy hellos
and no more goodbyes
a couple see you soons
hearts bloom because they saw effort
giving them inches of life
making nightmares almost forgetful
this is me wishing again
but I have some action
I'm still young and dumb
but I got some sense
to help my generation
create traction.
